2nd 55th Reunion Survey
Follow up to 55th Reunion survey. After reading everyone’s suggestions and seeing how everyone voted, I have put together a new survey, which will probably be followed up with another, but it is a beginning.
It was brought to my attention that since we are all aging, we will need to take into consideration, accessibility for walkers, wheelchairs, as well as noise for those with hearing issues. I pretend I don’t have hearing issues, but my sister says I do and sometimes I agree, oh well so is life. Also, a concern was time of year, and I believe most of us would agree the less heat the better, May, early June or September/October.
I investigated the Smith Ranch suggestion, and it looks like one needs to be a member of the village to use their facilities. I also investigated Lucas Ranch, and they only do BIG Corporate events, not high school reunions. So, both these are out. As for the restaurant possibilities, it was noted that it is easier to mingle at an open area, and I’m not sure about the restaurants in the Marin area, but I do remember Dominics was a great place, but alas it is closed, unless someone can suggest another restaurant that provides a space where we can mingle away from the tables, perhaps with outside access, let me know.
So, for now we are looking into different Parks, Peacock Gap and a few other venues. This survey is going to be mostly about what time of year most of us would like to have the reunion take place, and what pricing is acceptable to all, of course this will determine our budget.
